1 John 4:4: "Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world." The opposition that we face as Christians can often seem like a giant. This world tries to tear down God's truth and replace it with artificial hope. This world mocks followers of Christ and discourages the lost from being found. But just like David, we can conquer these giants by faith in God. Regardless of persecution, politics, or false prophets, we know that our God is greater. It is because of Him that we can rise above any opponent.

Faith-In-Action:
The real war is in the spiritual world and must be fought with spiritual weapons, with the protection of spiritual armor. His real enemies are spiritual: "principalities…powers…the rulers of the darkness of this world." His human enemies are actually prisoners of his real enemies! According to second Timothy 2:26 they have been "taken captive" by the devil "at his will."
Keep doing kingdom work. Keep serving each person you meet. Keep loving everyone who crosses your path. Don't try to silence the critics or the opposition by yelling louder. Trust God and do what's right. Remember that example is the loudest voice in every room. God will take care of us, so keep calm and carry on.
